Thats pretty much what I grind on lately refurbishing hydraulic cylinders. My main grinder has a 16" diameter wheel by 2" wide. We have it set up with the 3m belt system. The 70 micron belt will get me a 35 ra finish and the 40 micron belt gets me a 9 ra with plenty of spark out passes. The 20 micro belt gives a 2 ra with spark out passes.
